Toekomstbeeld: Inclusief Leiderschap en de rol van het Hoger Onderwijs

De weg van de kwestie gaat in op het opleiden van inclusieve leiders van morgen en de rol van het hoger onderwijs. Kern van de kwestie luidt: hoe kan het hoger onderwijs bijdragen aan een inclusieve en menswaardige samenleving, voor huidige en toekomstige generaties? Voor de kwestie Inclusief Leiderschap zijn er tijdens de Toekomstraad vier persona’s ingebeeld die de mooist mogelijke toekomst ondervinden. Wat zou er gebeuren door de ogen van persona Lucia in de mooist mogelijke toekomst?

Lucia in het jaar 2100. 
Door meer gelijkheid is er meer samenwerking.
Alles is fluïde: man, vrouw, oud, jong, kleur, opleiding.
Er zijn geen hokjes meer, dus je hoeft er ook niet in te passen.
Dan dus ook hoogopgeleid en laagopgeleid.

Wat is daarvoor nodig?
Flexibiliteit, creativiteit, samenwerkingsvermogen en lef.
Want er moet wel wat van je overblijven van wie je vandaag bent, want dat kan morgen weer iets heel anders zijn. Vrijheid: individueel en collectief.
Absolute vrijheid. 
In combinatie met verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel. 

Het gaat over mensen in hun waarde laten, ook kinderen.
Niet altijd denken dat je het beter weet.
In een ideale wereld, dus.
Zelfvertrouwen geven, dat ze hun eigen gids zijn. 

Veerkrachtigheid en mogelijkheden om te innoveren.
Zelfs in een ideale wereld blijven dingen verkeerd gaan. 
Je hoeft het woord inclusief niet meer te gebruiken als we niet meer in hokjes denken. 
Zolang we met elkaar blijven communiceren bewegen we naar een meer inclusieve samenleving. 
Iedereen is nodig voor welzijn, iedereen heeft zijn eigen missie daarin.
Dat we het meer over wat ‘inclusiviteit’ betekent hebben.

Is het niet een tegenstelling, inclusief leiderschap?
Als je echt inclusief bent, dan is iedereen een leider.
Het thema inclusie bestaat niet meer, dan.
Hoe inclusief is leiderschap als het alleen maar gericht is op het hoger onderwijs?
Een leider kan ook iemand zijn met heel veel talenten op een ander gebied. 
Dat niet per se gerelateerd is aan “intelligentie”.
Dat is niet het meest bepalend. 

Hoger onderwijs bestaat ook niet meer:
Je doet waar je goed in bent en waar je hart ligt. 
We zijn afgestapt van het huidige onderwijssysteem. 
Je ontwikkelt je op basis van je eigen talenten, wat je nodig hebt, wat je nodig wil hebben.
Een combinatie tussen Grieks en straten maken. 

Welke signalen vangen we nu al op voor die inclusieve toekomst?
Voor veel werk hebben we AI, robots of een combinatie daarvan. 
Dus heel veel werk doen we zelf niet meer. 
Heel veel ziektes zullen zijn uitgebannen, veel mensen zullen langer leven. 
We hebben gelijke toegang tot die middelen.  
We hebben al veel bereikt.

We hebben principes nodig van respect voor het leven, voor de natuur. 
Van shareholder naar stakeholder-kapitalisme naar helemaal geen kapitalisme.
