Op 25 sept starten we met het het project ‘Geef toekomstige generaties een groene stem’ . Met dit project gaan we met ongeveer 12 jongeren een jongeren programma voor het Lab Toekomstige Generaties ontwikkelen. Ken jij iemand of ben jij zelf tussen de 16 en 27? Heb jij ongeveer 1 dag in de week tijd? En wil jij je actief inzetten voor natuur en duurzaamheid in Nederland?

In ’Geef Toekomstige Generaties een groene stem!’ gaan jongeren op onderzoek uit wat het betekent om een goede voorouder te zijn. Het Lab Toekomstige Generaties (Lab TG) leert je om je in te leven in de mooist mogelijke toekomst voor toekomstige generaties. Hoe ziet de toekomst er dan uit en welke keuzes kunnen we nu maken om die te bereiken?

Het Lab TG traint je in het gebruiken van speciale tools zodat je nu al volgende generaties een stem kan geven. Je ontmoet de Waarnemend Ombudspersoon voor Toekomstige Generaties en gaat in gesprek met andere inspirerende mensen van het Lab TG. Je krijgt de kans je te verdiepen in inzichten over een natuurinclusieve en duurzame samenleving. Oftewel, je leert een goede voorouder te zijn!

Met deze kennis ga jij het Lab TG helpen met het ontwikkelen van een jongerenprogramma. Dat is hard nodig, want dat is er nog niet! Je volgt met de hele groep trainingen, en je ontmoet interessante sprekers. Natuurlijk is er tijd voor teambuilding. Je kiest een deelproject dat bij jou past en gaat in dat team aan de slag. Op sommige dagen gaan we op pad, bijvoorbeeld naar de Waddenzee, waar je meer leert over het werk van het Lab TG.

In het kort jouw inzet
Je helpt het Lab TG met het ontwikkelen van een jongerenprogramma.
Dat ga je doen in 3 deelprojecten en je kiest het project dat het beste bij jou past.

1. Jongerenbijeenkomst; Organiseer een bijeenkomst met jongeren om het jongerenprogramma echt vorm en inhoud te geven. Je organiseert een inspirerende bijeenkomst met ong. 40 jongeren. Met de ideeën uit de bijeenkomst bouw je het jongerenprogramma.

Om meer jongeren te bereiken en het gedachtegoed en tools van het Lab TG goed te kunnen verspreiden, ga je aan de slag met het toegankelijk maken van:
2. Het toekomstige generatie denken; Maak een video, blog of podcast waarmee je andere jongeren laat kennismaken met het toekomstige generatie denken.

3. De Toekomst Stoel; De Toekomst Stoel is een tool van het Lab TG. De Toekomst Stoel is letterlijk een ‘vrije’ stoel in bv een vergadering of in een bestuur. Zo wordt bij alle beslissingen de stem van toekomstige generaties meegenomen in de beslissingen van vandaag. Maar hoe zet je die het beste in?

Jouw Impact
Je leert hoe je de belangen van toekomstige generaties mee kunt nemen en hoe je dat kan toepassen. Je kan daardoor ook anderen inspireren om op deze wijze naar de toekomst te kijken. Je helpt het Lab TG door het vergroten van hun bereik onder jongeren en legt de eerste bouwstenen van het jongeren programma. Je maakt het gedachtegoed en tools van het Lab TG toegankelijk voor anderen.

Daarnaast lever jij jouw bijdrage aan een betere natuurinclusieve wereld, voor huidige en toekomstige generaties en voor alles wat leeft.

Wanneer?
Op 25 september ontmoeten we elkaar bij de landelijke dag van het Groen Traineeship. Daarna zien we elkaar vanaf 8 oktober op de vrijdagen van 10:00-16:00 uur.

Waar?
We zien elkaar op het prachtig gelegen en bosrijke Landgoed Zonheuvel, Doorn. Een aantal bijeenkomsten is online. Voor speciale dagen gaan we op pad naar de Waddenzee en Universiteit Nyenrode.

Het Lab TG zet zich in om het welzijn van toekomstige generaties mee te laten wegen bij belangrijke beslissingen in de samenleving. Het Lab TG is als jonge stichting volop in ontwikkeling en werkt vanuit twee focusthema’s: (natuur)inclusie en duurzaamheid. We zijn een divers team met een duurzaam en inclusief netwerk, een netwerk dat bijdraagt aan een groenere wereld.
